« La Maison allowed me to be at my brother’s side right until the end. His family had played the role of caregiver for so many months, but staying at La Maison allowed them to return to being a spouse, a sister, a son or a daughter and to live their last moments as a real family.

Robert lived life to the fullest, he was crazy about his family and he was constantly surrounded by people. While at La Maison, his loved ones were able to stay with him, day and night, and his numerous friends had the chance to say goodbye. Upon his arrival, Robert immediately felt reassured by the staff and volunteers. After several months of suffering, knowing that that he was finally secure and serene was the greatest gift that his loved ones could have received. We are very grateful for everything La Maison did for me, as well as the entire family. Although terrible, his departure was easier to accept thanks to the Au Diapason team. » – Joanne Dinarzo
