At Home Services
Patients and volunteers are paired for at home visits based on an evaluation of the request and a needs assessment conducted by the volunteer coordinator. The volunteer’s role is to listen attentively and provide respite and support to caregivers.
Schedule: The duration of each visit is 3 to 4 hours, once per week. The schedule is determined according to the volunteer’s availability and the family’s needs.
Bereavement Services: Support Groups for Adults, Adolescents and Children
Provide a series of themed workshops (12 workshops for adults, 6 workshops for adolescents and children) to support individuals during the bereavement process. After receiving specific training, the volunteer’s role consists of moderating the workshops according to the pre-established themes.
Schedule: Different meeting times are offered depending on the availability of participants and volunteers. The volunteer must be available once every two weeks for 5 hours (preparation and delivery of workshop) for a duration of 5 months.
Bereavement services are offered at La Maison Au Diapason.
