A sponsor is any individual, business, association, etc. who gives money, a product or service in exchange for visibility or advertising during the fundraising activity. Please note: this is different from a donor, who makes a donation in exchange for a tax receipt.

If so, please note that the Au Diapason Foundation is very grateful for the support of our sponsors. To avoid the over-solicitation of businesses and individuals, and to ensure compatibility with our mission and vision, please provide the names of the sponsors you want to contact for approval.
Tax Receipts
The Au Diapason Foundation strictly adheres to Canada Revenue Agency’s rules and regulations. As not all donations are eligible for a tax receipt, please consult the Foundation and obtain approval before promising tax receipts to donors.
The Au Diapason Foundation issues a tax receipt for donations of $25 or more. Donations must be made to: La Fondation Au Diapason.

After the event, please send us contact information for every donation of $25 or more (including name, address, phone number and amount donated) so we can issue a tax receipt.
In order for us to be accountable to our donors and to issue tax receipts in a timely manner, we ask that all donations be submitted to the Au Diapason Foundation in the 30 days following the fundraising event.
Licences and Insurance
Some activities require a permit or license, including bingos, draws or those involving the sale of alcohol. The foundation cannot apply for any permits ou licenses required for your event. The foundation will also not provide authorization letters to obtain such permits. Should an alcohol permit be required, we recommend you host your activity in a location that already has a permit.

To help provide visibility during your fundraising activity, the Foundation can supply various identification tools and communications material. Please, check the items that interest you.

Representation from the Au Diapason Foundation
The Au Diapason Foundation tries to attend all fundraising activities organized by community members. However, due to the large number of events per year or the date of the activity, it is not always possible for us to attend. If you would like a representative from the Foundation to be present at your fundraising activity, please notify us 30 days before the event and we will do our best to participate.
Agreement
1. The Au Diapason Foundation does not provide funds to organize fundraising activities. The organizing committee cannot make expenditures on behalf of the Au Diapason Foundation. The Foundation is also not responsible of any commitment or partnership made by the organizers.
2. All advertising material for the event, including our logos, must be approved by the Au Diapason Foundation.
3. The organizers agree not to hold the Au Diapason Foundation, La Maison Au Diapason and/or L’Équipe d’accompagnement Au Diapason responsible for any incident, damage or loss in association with the fundraising event.
4. The organizers are responsible for the event ticket sales.
5. The Au Diapason Foundation must approve of any spokesperson requested for the event.
