{"id":1581,"date":"2018-08-21T20:43:50","date_gmt":"2018-08-21T19:43:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/audiapason.org\/en\/?p=1581"},"modified":"2018-08-21T20:43:50","modified_gmt":"2018-08-21T19:43:50","slug":"au-diapason-foundation-launches-its-major-fundraising-campaign-im-walking-for-a-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/audiapason.org\/en\/au-diapason-foundation-launches-its-major-fundraising-campaign-im-walking-for-a-million\/","title":{"rendered":"Au Diapason Foundation Launches its Major Fundraising Campaign: I\u2019m Walking for a Million!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During its 10<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary celebration, Au Diapason Foundation launched its major fundraising campaign: <em>I\u2019m Walking for a Million!<\/em> Through this initiative, the Foundation is seeking to raise $ 2 million in two years, with a specific objective of raising the first million by the 10<sup>th<\/sup> edition of <em>La Marche \/ La Course<\/em> to be held on May 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Million Ways to Raise a Million! <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are a million opportunities for businesses and community members of Brome-Missisquoi and Haute-Yamaska to contribute to this major fundraising campaign. They can participate in <em>La Marche \/ La Course<\/em> on May 5<sup>th<\/sup>, <a href=\"http:\/\/audiapason.org\/en\/organize-an-activity\/\">organize a fundraising event <\/a>or take part in one already established by a family member, friend, neighbour, or colleague. All forms of participation are important and make a real difference for patients at the end of life and their families.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s been 10 years since the Foundation was created when construction of La Maison Au Diapason was about to begin. Since then, more than 1,000 patients and their families have benefited from free care in this peaceful environment\u201d, underlines Luc Harbec, President of Au Diapason Foundation. \u201cThis is in part due to the Foundation which finances nearly 60% of services offered.
